Assistance with Color Discrepancy in Scanned and Edited Photos

  1. In SilverFast, go to the ‘Preferences’ and select ‘CMS (Color Management System)’. Make sure that the ‘Internal (working) is set to the same color space as your third-party editing software. For example, if you are using Adobe Photoshop, you may want to set the Internal/Working space to ‘Adobe RGB (1998)’.
  2. In your third-party editing software, ensure that the color settings are configured to match the working space you have set in SilverFast. You can usually find these settings in the ‘Color Settings’ or ‘Preferences’ menu of your editing software.
  3. When saving your edited images, make sure to embed the color profile. This will help maintain color consistency when viewing or printing your images.
  4. If you are using a specific output device (e.g., a printer), ensure that the appropriate ICC profile for that device is installed and configured correctly in both SilverFast and your third-party editing software.
Please try these steps and let us know if the color discrepancy issue is resolved. If you still encounter any difficulties, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We are committed to helping you achieve the best results with SilverFast.
