Firstly, we recommend that you try restarting your computer and launching the software again. Sometimes, a simple reboot can resolve software issues.
- Switch off the scanner and quit SilverFast (force quit, if necessary).
- Switch the scanner back on and restart SilverFast.

- If you are experiencing a software crash when attempting to hit the start button, we suggest ensuring that your scanner is properly connected and that the latest driver has been installed. It is important to note that the scanner should be switched on and in a ready-to-use state.
